In observance of World No Tobacco Day 2026, Government ITI Jogindernagar organized an Anti-Tobacco Awareness Programme on 30 May 2026 to educate students about the harmful effects of tobacco consumption and the importance of leading a healthy, tobacco-free life.

The programme aimed to create awareness among students regarding the health hazards associated with tobacco use and to encourage them to make informed and healthy lifestyle choices. Faculty members addressed the gathering and emphasized the need to stay away from tobacco products and promote a tobacco-free environment.

Students actively participated in awareness activities and took a pledge to abstain from tobacco use and spread awareness among their families, friends, and communities. The event served as a meaningful step towards building a healthier and more responsible society.

The programme concluded with a collective commitment to support the vision of a tobacco-free India and to inspire others to adopt healthier habits for a better future.
